I am really sorry to say this but if I could give no stars I would. Its been a year and I still haven’t been treated properly for my teeth issues. They left a half root canal undone. I book an emergency appointment. They have a look. My tooth is broken and it was causing me so much pain where I am unable to eat or even speak in fact. All he did was put a temporary filling to hold the two parts of the tooth together. And gave me antibiotics without actually needing it. Every time I book an emergency appointment, all the dentist does is prescribe antibiotics. The dentist that did my half root canal left the dentist practice. Fine but at least finish off the root canal ? Or one of his colleagues to finish it. Now they say they don’t have a NHS dentist practitioner. So they refuse to finish it off or treat my emergency appointments. He said find another practice. I tried but they said go get that root canal finished where they started the job. Let them finish it off. And now because they don’t want to help me with NHS and only said they would help privately., they referred me to a dental hospital to fix all my teeth issues. Because they left my teeth untreated that my other teeth have new problems now. I am so so unhappy and sad with this dental practice. I would suggest not going there. They basically took the NHS the money for my treatment that has not been done. I believe thats fraud. Please I am urging everyone not to go here. Especially if you are under the NHS. They treat you like your lower class for not paying privately.

I having been using this dentist for my children & I for some years & they have been great. However, this year I have had two routine appointments for my children cancelled – on on the day which I then had to reschedule for 6 weeks later. The second rescheduled one has now been cancelled. The receptionist informed me that the first cancellation was due to the fact that the dentist now doesn’t want NHS patients and will only see them before 4pm. My rescheduled appointment was in school holidays during the day & I am now assuming that as this has been cancelled that I will struggle to get a further appointment. Clearly the dentist is trying to force NHS patients out of the practice which is incredibly socially irresponsible given that these are children. It is also short sighted to say the least as loyal NHS patients are the private patients of the future.

The whole approach from this practice needs a rethink. The lack of clear communication around appointments and focus on payment only over and above client welfare is disappointing and transactional. There is no empathy or understanding at reception, especially when talking to younger patients. And when NHS dentist lists are increasingly full, using the phrase ‘then find another dentist’ unnecessarily belligerent. Sad to see especially when so many young people aren’t getting their teeth checked due to cost.
