Reviews:
Dr. Wortman is the worst dentist I’ve ever been to. He does not care about your teeth but about money. I used to be his patient from 2011 – 2014. Because of him I have a phobia of visiting dentists for the rest of my life.

This dentist did some unnecessary procedures on me and I believe was because of insurance money. He does not explain to you what he’s going to do on your teeth. He drilled all for the
corners of my teeth (all the molars and premolars) and replaced it with amalgam fillings. Only discovered this one morning when I was brushing my teeth. When I asked him on my next visit he said it was to “protect my teeth” from future cavities. Areas I ddn’t have any cavities?!!

I will never forget when I visited for sensitivity reasons, he kept injecting me to numb me but I felt pain so I jerked during one of the injections and place my hand on my mouth as a reflex. Dr Wortman rudely told me “Will you allow me to do my job!” I was already a timid and shy person at that time so all I did was listen in pain and as he kept injecting, tears ran down my cheeks. The fact that I can remember this should tell you how this experience hurt me.

Later I called for my dental records, the receptionist tells me it will cost $20 per page. Smh I’ve had to live with this for the rest trauma for the rest of my life. I hope you see this Dr. Wortman. I know this was some years ago but I just hope you’ve changed and are being a better dentist to other patients! You may not remember me, just know your actions leave marks in the lives of people you treat. So DO BETTER!

I was younger then but my mistake was trusting him blindly because I believed doctors, and oh “Americans doctors” knew what they are doing and were one of the best. On my visits I wouldn’t ask to questions, just talk about my sensitivity pain and he would do some work on me. Not saying all dentists are bad but please, don’t be like younger me ask questions and do your research as well. Because some dentists just don’t care. Thanks

12 years ago, Dr. Wortman was tasked with putting 2 crowns on my back top molars (both sides) that each had root canals (luckily from another dentist that knew what they were doing). He was extremely rude, but I put that aside since I assumed he knew what he was doing. This man has single-handedly led to $1000’s of further dental surgery and procedures because of his negligence.

1) On one of the crowns, HE LEFT COTTON INSIDE THE CROWN THAT HE PUT ON, leading me to get a massive infection down the line and needing to entirely redo my root canal.
2) He tried to submit an insurance claim for gold crowns, rather than the standard porcelain. I don’t know why he would do this, other than complete obliviousness or attempt to commit fraud. At the time, this delayed my crowns for an extra 1-2 weeks.
3) He did a filling on the tooth next to one of the crowns, but FAILED TO CLEAN IT PROPERLY BEFOREHAND, leading me to have further issues down the line and eventually needing a crown on that tooth!
4) On one of the crowns, he didn’t do it properly and it resulted in an overhang which to this day can catch food particles forcing me to floss daily.

Avoid this man at all costs.

Had a chipped tooth fixed about 10 years ago by a different office and obviously it is not a permanent fix, so when it was time to fill it again I came to this office to get two front teeth fixed. One fell off not even 24 hours later, but I let it be since it was not very noticeable. However, the main one that I am very insecure about fell off about a week after. Receptionist were all very kind and gave me an appointment for the next day. When I see the dentist she tells me I must’ve eaten “an apple” or something hard because the fills last a couple of years. I told her I had not eaten anything as such and was aware of the time these things last. It has now ben exactly a year since that appointment and once again is has fallen off after brushing my teeth. At this point I am convince that the procedure was not done properly, not once, but twice.
