UPDATE 20/04/24:
Went today for some fillings. When Dr Tan recommended numbing the area, I tensed up remembering all the painful experiences I had in the past. Surprised: Toothworks has a machine that slowly drips the anaesthetic in the gum. I felt ZERO PAIN from the prick. It was almost unbelievable. Thank you Dr Tan for listening to patients’ feedback and actually acting upon them. Amazing work.
PS: also watching Netflix while on the chair helps greatly in the overall experience. I definitely have a completely different idea about going to the dentist now!
My introductory check up appointment with Dr. Tan was without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever experienced with a Dentist. The software used to demonstrate my overall dental health was impressive, and the cleaning treatment and guidance for ongoing hygiene practices was provided with great care. She was incredibly generous with sharing knowledge and applied thinking of her specialised field with reference to long term dental health concerns and the benefits of orthodontics. The ceiling TV and headphones made the cleaning experience almost enjoyable. I’ll be back, and glad to support her dedication and expertise as a great practitioner.
Having never been to this clinic, I was able to make an appointment at very short notice as a new patient. Although it’s a bit nerve wracking going to a new dentist, I needn’t have been concerned, because Dr Tan was great.
She put me at ease, was extremely thorough with the examination and diagnosed the issue carefully. Then she explained the treatment I could do at home and I went away feeling much better and very relieved. It was a positive experience and I would definitely go back and see Dr Tan again.
