I have been a patient for 13 plus years and started when it was owned by Dr. Sherman. My only one and only complain since I’ve returned (due to not having insurance for a year) I noticed the office has a high turnover of staff and I have not had a dedicated hygienist, whch is disappointing since the hygenist I had for 13 years left to work else where, and I’ve had 4 to 5 different ladies in the last 2 years and this is nothing against them, but the care and service rendered are so different now. I’m seriously considering terminating my care and finding another dental office. The last straw was my appointment being canceled without contacting me to confirm and then getting a TEXT saying my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm it. My issue with that whole process was the staff knows me because I work next door, and I would have appreciated a phone call before canceling my appointment, as a professional courtesy.
This is my own experience and I don’t want to include my husband’s experience with appointments canceled, rescheduled and having a different hygienist every time as well. Its hard enough to get him to make an appointment and now having these issues does not help our situation. All the MD’a are great but I think it’s time to move on.

The best dental office I have ever gone to. I have been deadly afraid of going to the dentist ever since I was younger and have not had insurance for a while but I needed to see the dentist for an emergency , I was able to be seen right away and upon arrival was greeted by the great front desk staff and maybe waited 5 minutes before getting called back. I then got to meet the dental assistant that was very sweet and kind and she listened to my concerns fully. I didn’t even have to leave the chair because the X-rays are done right then and there and they even took pictures of my teeth and concerning area. Then I got to meet Dr. Terranova, she was amazing! She was very kind and gentle when it came to my concerns and embarrassment of all the work I needed and she took her time finding out what was wrong. I will be going back every single time to this office, I had a fantastic experience and no longer feel afraid of the dentist!

Dr. Saade is the most amazing dentist I have ever had. Nobody likes going to the dentist but I truly don’t mind my appointments here because I know that I am receiving exceptional care by excellent doctors who respect me and are experts at what they do. Myself and my teeth are so grateful for Torrey Pines Dental Arts and I highly recommend them.

Also, Dr. Terranova and the dental hygienists are all fantastic as well! They have a truly great team.
