Reviews:
Today was a totally different experience than what I was used to. The difference I felt was that I have a Medical Card now and not personal insurance I’m retired after 16yrs because of medical issues I have 8 teeth left in my mouth. When I first came to Townsend Dental I told everyone about my dentist and how good he is. This last visit I felt totally dismissed and I asked to get my teeth cleaned well no preventive care with a medical card that cleaning would have cost $75.00. Honestly my dentist tapped on 4 teeth showed and told me why my dentures didn’t fit anymore and basically there was nothing to be done about it that would work. I remember when I first got my dentures he worked with me until I got my copayments done. Now oh well.
I feel like Dr. Townson and his staff is family. They make me feel so comfortable every time I come for my check ups. My family and I have been his patients for 10 years now and I can’t see my self going anywhere else for work done to my mouth.
I don’t recommend this place. It seemed like he cared more about taking my teeth out my mouth than actually having dental plan set up or addressing the issues I wanted. Go see a dentist that treats you like a individual instead of a paycheck
