Over 10 years ago I had several horrible experiences at my previous Dentist so I stopped going. This combined with living an unhealthy lifestyle caused me not to see a dentist for MANY years. I developed a dental phobia which progressively got worse. Finally after cleaning my life up and with my teeth so bad they were rotting out of my mouth, I had to do something, and this was where Urban Smiles Colwood came into my life. From day 1 my fears were put at ease. Dr. Staples’ careful/gentle approach at methodically tackling my litany of dental issues tooth by tooth has been nothing short of amazing. Her sincere and compassionate attitude combined with high degree of professional skill, and state of the art dental facility keeps me calm, relaxed, and pain free- even during those most difficult appointments. I recommend Urban Smiles Colwood to EVERYONE, but especially those who’ve neglected their teeth and shied away from visiting a Dentist in the past. Urban Smiles Colwood has allowed me to get all my teeth repaired at a pace that works for me. No matter how ashamed I was at the state of my teeth when I first walked in- I’ve ALWAYS been treated with the utmost care and respect and I’m no longer ashamed of my smile. My confidence grows each and every appointment. If she can fix my teeth the way she has then I GUARANTEE there’s NO PROBLEM TOO BIG or too small for Dr. Staples and her team at Urban Smiles Colwood to handle. I’m extremely grateful to have such a wonderful Dentist.

I was ok with the office staff and services but my daughter had a not so great experience as she was turned away for emergency care and treated poorly. So now we must switch I’ve been waiting for well over 6 months for the office to contact about their new payment option (credit ppl) so when they finally got it sorted I had to call them. With still little to no info. The 1 person who helped us the most left. Jordan was the most thorough person who worked there. I wish we didn’t have to switch but my daughter was in dental pain and talk down to by the actual dentist. I’m very disappointed.

I developed a toothache in my lower molar Thursday and by the evening it was raging. Friday morning at 9 am I began calling dentists. My own dentist was closed for the long weekend and about 10 other dentists I called including the emergency dental clinic were full booked. Luckily for me, Urban Smiles said they could squeeze me in at 11:10 am. Dr.Staples and her team did an emergency root canal right on the spot! They saved my long weekend and possibly me from blood poisoning! I wish I could give them 10 stars! Thank you so much.
