After a lot of orthodontic work as a child I have had a fear of dentists for years. In recent years my teeth have taken a turn for the worse and desperately needed work done. Dr Nick Van Der Walt is the BEST dentist I have ever gone to in my life. He is gentle and caring. He continually asks if I am comfortable and if the numbing treatment is adequate. He worked out an affordable plan for me to overhaul my smile and with only 1 or 2 visits left I am extremely happy with the progress. I will continue to see him on a regular basis due to his manner. Thank you Dr Nick and all the lovely staff at Van Der Walt dental
I moved to the area and tried a couple of Debtists prior to this one. It was like having a family friend who just happened to be a dentist. The respectful way in which my mother and I were treated.
The Doctor was not only caring, but realistic about treatment required and very sensitive to our limited finances against our requirements. It’s such a pleasant change to find a Dentist that genuinely cares about its patients and the industry and not just monetary motivated.
Looks like we’ve found an old fashioned dentist that the whole family will be going to. And he’s LGBI friendly too.

Nic is such a professional intelligent caring dentist, who informs you of all your options and how he will go about it. In my case, he spent and hour and three quarters patching up a botched job from a previous dentist. Liz and the other secretaries are welcoming, efficient and pleasant. The other young dental assistants go beyond making you feel welcome. Tis a pleasure to visit my new dentist.
