I have been a patient of Dr. Richard Goodfellow since 1981, and have always had a great experience. Since Dr. Goodfellow retired, I have seen 2 or 3 different dentists at Vellore Woods.
When I was there last week for my cleaning appointment, there was a dentist that came to look at my teeth after the cleaning, whom I had never met, and she did not introduce herself or even acknowledge me. She simply went to work examining my teeth.
Yesterday, I was there for 2 small cavities to be filled. I can honestly say that I am not even sure it was the same female dentist that examined my teeth last week that came in to do the fillings. Although she was very efficient in her dental work, again, she did not introduce herself, did not acknowledge me by name, just came in and started working on my fillings.
Every other staff member at Vellore Woods is personable every time I am there. The front desk staff are wonderful and the dental hygienists and dental assistants are always talkative and pleasant. Everyone greets you by name except the female dentist.

If I could give more stars I would!! I’ve been coming to this dental office for over 33 years and they never disappoint. From the moment you walk in there are friendly smiles everywhere. Melissa, Sabrina and Lina are always so friendly and take the time to really get to know you. Silvana is my hygienist and has been treating me for all these years. She is the most thorough hygienist, taking her time to do her job with precision!! She never rushes and always does a cancer screening exam along with taking my blood pressure before she begins my scaling treatment and I always leave with advice and goodies!! Love my goodie bag. All the dentists are extremely friendly and really care about my overall dental health. Love coming here!!
My experience with Vellore dentistry was so overwhelming and upsetting! They have two dental clinics and I was referred to this dental office due to the fact that the other office could not pull one of my back teeth. Once I arrived they took me in and they told me they could not do the extraction because I was taking aspirin. So they made another appointment with another dentist and advised me that it would cost $120.00 for the consultation. My point is if they could not do it why send me to someone else to do it! I finally got to see another dentist in Maple which told me there would not be a problem even if I was taking aspirin.
