All of our family use this dentist, we were with Malcolm Ellis at his previous practice in Bishop Auckland nearly 20 years ago and he’s an amazing dentist which is why we moved with him to this one. I called today to get my son a check up but he has been removed from the practice without informing us, he has been under an orthodontist for the last few years and as he had no issues he didn’t attend. I was cut off by the receptionist when I complained, when I called back there was no apology! Feel very let down and disappointed!!

My 1 star review wasn’t about the NHS pulling funding it was about being a long standing customer and not being informed and the poor customer service from reception staff!!

Removed from the practice as an NHS patient without any text or letter which as far as I am aware they are obligated to give you warning. Wouldn’t see me as an NHS patient with tooth ache but they could if I went private. I emailed in to ask why I wasn’t given and notice of been removed, no response, I followed up again a week later and still didn’t respond. It seems they are not that interested in patient care and are more concerned about lining their pockets via the private healthcare industry.

Totally let down by the dentist! Miss P fitted a veneer very badly which she then broke trying to get off! She then fitted temp with permanent cement needed to wait over a month in all to see if a new veneer can be fitted .
Just to add my tooth is now corrected and I was provided with a great service from Dentist Mr Conlan and wanted to say thank you for addressing this. It’s been a long process but he has provided a very friendly and professional service . Thank you !
