I regret to say that our experience with West Byfleet Dental & Implant Centre has been less than satisfactory. Two weeks ago my partner sought treatment for a dental abscess, only to find himself in a critical situation a week later. His condition deteriorated to the point where he needed an emergency operation at John Radcliffe Hospital as his airways were closing.

The lack of timely and effective intervention raises serious concerns about the quality of care provided. Communication about the severity of the dental abscess and its potential complications was lacking, and the subsequent emergency situation was alarming.

In such critical matters of health, transparency and swift, accurate action are crucial. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the expected standard. This review is shared with the hope that it prompts a reevaluation of the protocols in place to ensure the well-being and safety of patients.

Please exercise caution and consider alternatives when seeking dental care.

Have used this practise several times and must say that tooth filling material they use is poor quality, most of the fillings have come out and when you call the reception and advise, they immediately book another appointment and charge you for assessment and filling. Don’t really know what assessment they did, other than just filling the tooth, but you will be charged at the reception as a nice good bye!! Will be looking for another dental practice. I normally don’t write reviews, but this one I had to without prejudice.

I have been with West Byfleet Dental since they opened and have only ever had positive experiences here. My current dentist, Dr Afonso Mujica, is the best dentist I’ve seen there and has made my recent treatment as straight forward and painless as possible and also makes you feel very relaxed. The reception team are always very helpful too. Highly recommend!
