Dr Westerhout took over the practice from her deceased ex-husband who was awesome. However her skill set is nothing like his… From our family of four, 3 are having severe problems with teeth worked on by her. two teenagers with good to excellent oral health and my wife. Basic dentistry gone wrong under Dr Westerhout. Over-drilling for basic fillings, two of them have needed root canals as a result. Severe pain on all three, even six months after treatment. Having to have other dentists try to repair the damage. In addition, their charges are excessive and patient-notification procedures of pateint-portion costs is shocking… If you are looking for a dentist, I would suggest gathering the opinion of several Westerhout customers first to see if our experience is similar to theirs. With THREE patients (two teens/young adults and a healthy mom) all experiencing post-treatment pain/problems, I would advise against this office at this time.
