Reviews:
This is, without a doubt, the best Dental Practice in the North Shore area, and I’ve been to nearly all of them over the past 20 years. In my struggle to find the right type of office setting, lighting, sound, and overall look and feel to accommodate my complex neurological disorder and the many symptoms of it , the search finally ended when I discovered Dr. Faynzilberg and Whiting Dental Arts.

The entire office was just recently completely renovated. It’s beautiful. The first thing you see when you walk in is a huge tv screen/monitor directly behind the desk with a beautiful background playing on it. Right away you feel at ease. It does not feel like a traditional dental office with the obsolete technology and archaic looking devices, i.e. orange lights everywhere, orange chairs, orange lamps in your face when you’re in the chair – none of that.

Instead, it’s more like a large, comfortable wing of a mansion, with a friendly, welcoming staff that kindly helps you with every issue in the most professional manner. The wait time has always been right around 5 minutes for me, which is incredible. The rooms themselves are larger than any other dental office I’ve been to, with perfect lighting, great construction/carpentry all throughout the rooms, with even the paint color of the office helping to put you at ease. All the equipment is the newest of the new; from the chairs – which are extremely comfortable – to the tools themselves, to the light above you which does not feel invasive, to the LCD monitor right in front of you that the Dentists can show you your X-ray on, and explain exactly what the issue is with crystal clear visuals to help you understand it all. It’s incredible, really, how phenomenal of a job they did with this office renovation. There’s even a high quality speaker above the chair on the ceiling that the Dentist can turn on for you both while you’re alone and while they are working on you, so you have music to listen to, if you want.

They truly spared no expense in the creation of this office. After a visit or two, it begins to feel like a home away from home; it’s that comfortable. The most impressive thing to me, though, was the 3d x-ray scanner, which, in about 60 seconds, scans your entire mouth/jaw, seeing not just all teeth but the jaw and other areas of the head as well. It was incredible to see this high tech machine in action, quickly scanning all around my head, non-invasively, and then creating a clear picture of all the bone structure in my head. This could save lives if someone had an infection that was pushing up into their skull towards their brain, which has happened to people. This machine would easily identify it in only a minute, and the Dentist(s) would then resolve the problem.

I could say more, but I would just be repeating myself. Don’t waste your time or hard earned money anywhere else; this is the place you want to be when you have a dental issue. Trust me; I’ve been to over 20 different dentists in the past two decades, and had some horrible experiences. Don’t suffer needlessly at the hands of a discompassionate dentist, or “tough it out” in a dental office that feels more like a sweatshop than a dental office. This is the one you want to visit; you’ve found your new Dentist, at Whiting Dental Arts.

I got to know Dr. Michael, his partner Jessie, and his team very well. They are nothing short of phenomenal. They put in a 4 tooth bridge, anchored by 2 implants…it was a baseball accident in 6th grade. I’ve been to 10+ dentists with just enough work to get me by over the years for minimal amount of money and best aesthetics. I had an active infection and decaying roots, and time was ticking for me to get the work done. Dr. Michael laid out the clearest, simplest plan from the beginning that was the most effective solution – I signed up with him on the spot. Dr. Michael fit me in week nights, and his Saturday schedule fit my work schedule well. He kept me informed along the way, through several set backs, over a 3 year process! He and Jessie were patient and committed to get my bone, function, and aesthics, as good as possible. They made it personal and kept it professional. It was not cheap, but he did his best to optimize costs for me and I would do it over again with him in a heartbeat.
I recently visited this dental office with my mom and was blown away by the level of care and professionalism provided by the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at ease. Michael took the time to listen to my mothers concerns and explain all of her treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. The office is modern and well-equipped with the latest technology, which made the visit quick and comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone in need of top-notch dental care. Five stars all the way!
