Reviews:
I came to Wickham Terrace Dental a few times over a 5 year period for emergency/urgent dental treatment and quoting for my overall dental work. After shopping around, I found them to be by far the most thorough and cohesive clinic in the inner Brisbane region. Dental care isn’t cheap, but it’s a good investment, and I feel that my money is best invested in a clinic that upholds good practises and has long-staying staff.
I saw Dr Nick Yee. Straight up he told me to get an electric toothbrush, and some floss, and told me how to use them. I’ve not had a dentist be this straightforward about my lapses in dental hygeine, and since implementing Dr Nick’s recommendations I have demonstrable improvements in my oral health.
I was anxious about drilling, the anaesthetic needle, and multiple appointments. Dr Nick explained sedated dental, and we factored it into my treatment plan. It was about $60 per session for sedated treatment, one for my upper and one for my lower jaw, $120 in total.
I came in first thing in the morning and took the medication, and I put my eye mask on, a podcast on my Bluetooth buds, and my upper jaw treatment was done. Ditto for the second session for my lower jaw, which included a stumpy molar extraction and also fitting a crown to another molar. The crown is beautiful and fits my bite perfectly.
Dr Nick scheduled a follow-up appointment to see how my dental work is tracking, and I’ll be returning to Dr Nick and Wickham Terrace Dental for ongoing dental care.
Shout out to Brie the receptionist for fitting me in around work and tolerating after the anaesthetic, and Bernadette also. The clinic wouldn’t be top-tier without good receptionists.
