Dr. Motruk is not only an excelent professional, but an amazing human being. We are visiting Canada on vacation and our 2 year old son had an incident with a dog and suffered a big cut on his mouth and had two of his front teeth bent backwards. We had no idea where to look for help. We were sent to the ER in Perth and they couldn’t help us. All other dentists we called on their emergency line wouldn’t see us. But doctor Motruk’s assistant got a hold of him after his hours on a Friday evening and he saw us late after hours and was extremely kind and caring. He examined our son, made sure he was ok and reassured us so much. He also said that if we needed more help while in Canada we could count on him. What a blessed soul! What an example of human being! He definitely made the rest of our stay in Canada lighter and enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend a better dentist. Wish we could visit him as our regular dentist back home. And his secretary/assistant Carina (sorry if I misspelled the name) was extremely helpful and so kind and caring as well. When you give love you get love in return. May you both have many blessings and much love always. Thank you for all the help.
Not the best experience, honestly. I had a problem with a tooth and he did a gum resection. When I still had the problem, he wanted to do a second one. I saw a second periodontist. The tooth was actually cracked at the root and I had a low grade infection. When I returned for the second gum resection assessment, he couldn’t tell which tooth he had done. It was very obvious (and he had the records in front of him). He wasn’t especially friendly. He didn’t say much when questioned. I had to pull the info out of him. I was very nervous about the surgery so I asked that he freeze me with the first needle and wait a minute for it to take effect then give me the rest of the freezing. He agreed then didn’t do it.
I broke a crown and decided an implant was the way to go. Dr. Motruk was very informative as to all my options. He is a very nice man who put me quite at ease. I am nervous about dentists . The process, although not yet complete, was thus far , relatively painless. Even the needles didn’t hurt! The experience so far has put my mind at ease and I’m not dreading whats yet to be done.
