I’ve been seeing Dr. Yam for over 25 years. I appreciate his sensitivity to my nervousness. He always tries to make me feel at ease. I had a filling replaced today and a new small filling in another tooth. He and his team are very kind and gentle and were eager to make sure that I was happy with their work.

Dana is also fantastic – she is my hygienist. I always enjoy my appointments with her and am very happy with her efforts in keeping my mouth healthy.

I really appreciate Paula at the front desk. She is always super friendly, professional snd efficient. She never makes you feel bad about asking questions or asking for clarification. She is very helpful, resourceful and kind!

The staff are all nice and will treat you well but to be brutally honest I just didn’t like Dr. yam himself. I understand doctors need to be stern with their patients to a degree but for the most part I just found him condescending and robotic. I have a small tooth growing on the side of my gums which Dr. Yam made seem like a huge deal and wanted me to book to have it removed which would have been a lot. That was 2 years ago and the new dentist I am at in Barrie took X-Rays and inspected it and said it was not causing any kind of problems. The staff are all professional but I don’t know about Dr. yam in general. I would be careful using his services.

For over the last 10 years, my family and I have been going to Dr. Yam’s office for all of our dental needs. My husband and our daughter got their braces done and their teeth are now looking great! We are always very happy with the service that we receive whenever we go for cleanings. Dr. Yam is very detailed with his work and always puts his patients first. Over the years, they have kept their office well-renovated and spotless. To top it off, Dr. Yam and his staff are always very friendly and welcoming!
