0 star for the older lady at the reception, otherwise 5 stars for the rest of the team.

During my 4th appointment, after a satisfactory teeth cleaning by Ms. Djurdjevic, I approached the reception to discuss my payment and schedule my next appointment. The older lady in the reception responded to me in German. I politely asked in German if she could speak English. With a firm “Nein,” she continued speaking in German with an impatient expression. While I looked confused and tried to figure out how to communicate with her, she raised her voice to me and spoke even faster. This made the situation more stressful for me. Thankfully, Ms. Djurdjevic overheard this from the far end of the practice and stepped in to assist. She resolved the “issue” within a minute.

This was quite a shock to me, as I have always had great experiences here. I understand that English may not be required, but a little patience and seeking help from colleagues could have made a big difference. I hope she can improve her approach to communication to ensure all patients feel comfortable and understood.

While the encounter with the older receptionist was disappointing, my overall experience with the team has been excellent. On my last three visits, two of the younger receptionists were very efficient and friendly. Even though one of them didn’t speak English very well, she still managed to book my appointment without any issue. Not to mention Ms. Komsic, who is the most patient and kindest dentist I have ever met!

Visiting Munich from the U.S., I developed an unexplained pain in my mouth. I called Dr. Jordan’s office, and they were able to get me an appointment the next day. He listened to me, examined my mouth and took x-rays. Based on this, he determined the issue was likely not related to my teeth and recommended a medical clinic to go to. All of this was in English. I appreciated the knowledgeable and efficient service, and I would not hesitate to go to Dr. Jordan again. Also, a few months ago my husband saw Dr. Jordan and colleagues for a broken tooth and had an excellent experience. Would 100% recommend — kind, competent, and helpful for those without much German.

I went to Dr. Jordan praxis for convenience because I live in the same area, but since the beginning it was a total match. All the staff is very professional, everything is well explained (prices included) and the doctor and his assistants always give you the best advice. Last but not least, they are very delicate and you feel nothing in your mouth, never had such experience!
A big plus for me is that almost everyone there speaks great English, which has been obviously very useful for explaining what I was looking for and how they could help me. Totally recommended.
