August 25, 2020. I just had a check-up and clean – my first one since the COVID pandemic. Doctor Paul Garret and his team have done a fantastic job transforming their office into a COVID-free space.

I was greeted at the door by a friendly staff member and asked to wait for a few minutes while the area I was about to enter was sanitized. Once inside, a staff member sprayed sanitizer on my hands and gave me a new mask to wear before asking me a series of health questions. I was given a pen, wrapped in a sanitizing wipe and asked to sign the questionnaire. I was then taken in to one of the dental spaces – now separated by zipped, clear plastic curtains and asked to sanitize my hands again.

The dental staff all wore masks, face shields and plastic gowns. They wiped down the surfaces and pens they’d use while I was there and were clearly making an effort to provide a clean, safe reassuring environment. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my my visit. The staff were friendly and calm, and it was a completely stress-free experience.

Thank you, Dr. Garret and team for going above and beyond to protect your patients and staff. You are doing excellent work.

I’ve been a client/patient of Canyon Springs Dental since I was 16 years old. I’m 41 now and saw the departure of the sibling owners Drs Paul + Janice Garrett. I was disappointed to see them go, but alas, every dentist one day has to ‘hang up their pick’. I was somewhat apprehensive about welcoming another dentist who was unknown to me into my enamel garage after so long with the familiar hands of the Garretts. My fears proved to be unwarranted upon meeting Dr. Shila Moridani, who took over as owner of the clinic. She communicates clearly and thoughtfully, but more importantly, displays a mastery of her craft which silenced *all* my doubts. Two fillings later (oops) to kick-off what I hope proves to be an uneventful future – as far as my teeth are concerned – Dr Shila has won me over and I look forward to our next meeting. From the hygienists to the front-end staff, Vicky and Denise who neatly tie us all together, thank-you for all the years of professionalism and friendly service Canyon Springs!

I have been going to canyon springs dental for many years, and have nothing but positive things to say about the receptionists. They are so kind, warm, and go above and beyond to make people feel comfortable.

I recently started taking my three year old to the dentist, and the hygienist Paula is a gem. She took her time showing my daughter all the tools, how they work, and never rushed through anything. She ensured my daughter was comfortable the entire time.

Dr Shila is also lovely- she once accommodated my request for one longer appointment instead of two – at the end of a very long day.

Even though I live 45 minutes away from their office now- I still come to see them, because of their dedication to customer service.
