Reviews:
I want to preface this review by saying that this is my personal experience with Dr. Lee and his dental clinic. I see there are some reviewers that I assume have not seen Dr. Lee before, and are leaving one-star reviews because a friend of told them to.

I started seeing Dr. Lee this summer because the dentist I was seeing closed his practice during the pandemic. My wife asked around and people recommended Dr. Lee. At the time, their practice only accepted new patients that were referred by existing patients. I do not know if that has changed since, but this is possibly why one of the reviewers could not get xrays done.

After a thorough exam, Dr. Lee took the time to explain everything. He pointed out the areas of concern and gave me homework. He also noticed something in one of the xrays and promptly fired that off to a radiologist for a second look. As the xrays were not clear enough, I was asked to get additional xrays at Dr. Lee’s clinic, and at the radiologist’s clinic.

I have had experiences with several dentists but he is the first one to spend an entire session just to take xrays and perform an oral examination. Most other dentists just start scaling or throw you to a dental hygienist for the work.

I am glad we found Dr. Lee. His knowledge and professionalism are top notch, and I have no issues referring him to friends and family.

I believe I am not the only one experienced this. One hour in the office for dental cleaning I got charged $571. No disclosure provided in advance.
$178 for so-called “examination” (checking on my teeth and touching my gum).
$181 for x-rays. (Regular ones you receive in any dental offices)
$72 for polishing and Fluoride. ( Whole polishing process LESS than 1 min)
$140 for Scaling.
Substandard treatment is provided. The whole process of teeth cleaning is LESS than 20 min. (Informed dentist I hadn’t had any dental cleaning in 2 years). I cannot believe that it has been done in LESS than 20 min.
No apologies from the office, and no explanation on why the cleaning time was ridiculously short.
Ridiculously unreasonable charge to patients with insurance. Patients should not be charged like this only because they have dental benefits. This is an exploitation and discrimination to insured patients.
If you experienced same situation as I do, please reject the bill before you leave the office. I do not accept refund and I will file a complaint.
Doctor Thomas Lee, has been my dentist for almost 20 years. He has always been investing in his skills and equipment over the years. Until the pandemic happened he had been working with the same team for at least a decade or more. This alone speaks volume to how he runs his practice. When I came in the first time, he spent his time inspecting each teeth , describing its properties and status , meticulously recording it and has been doing so ever since. Doctor Lee is a data driven dentist and has helped me improving a whole mouth that was in terrible state. I don’t live nearby anymore but I will drive 1 hour anytime to get my dental work done by Doctor Lee.
