I had made an appointment for Jan 2023 looking for a dentist in the area closer to home. I had been seeing my previous dentist for over 2 decades but that office was in North York so I thought I would try something closer. Dundas East Dental was clean and the staff were pleasant but my disappointment was with the dentist. She advised me after looking at the pictures they had taken, that I had 2 cavities. This shocked me as I had gone my entire life without a cavity. She explained that she could see one from the picture but the other she could only see by looking in my mouth. Immediate red flag! I left without having any work done and noticed after I left that they had overcharged my insurance. I know insurance was overcharged as I was aware from my previous dentist how much they were billing my insurance. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I went back to my old dentist and was not surprised to find out that, No, I did not have any cavities. How much work is Dundas East Dental doing on people that don’t need it?! They will try to say that this is a fake review, but I can assure you it is not.
I write this as a warning. Finding a trustworthy dentist is hard enough and Dundas East Dental are not trustworthy. Get a second opinion.

I had to get a major filling here, because another dentist in the community, had not done one accurately. Thank God this dentist not only fit me in as an emergency but has also proven to be well priced and good at dental work. Previous to coming here, the old dentist I saw which is also in regent park, I later discovered was billing my insurance for false appointments!! Imagine how shocked I was. However, not only can I trust Dundas East Dental, but they do a far superior job on my teeth. My filling they did has lasted far longer and still in strong shape, but also the cleanings I get are really comfortable and not aggressive and painful.

I went in for a cleaning and a exam its a a calm and clean environment that makes it less anxious and im usually nervous about going to the dentist but how they treated their patients shows they know what their doing. The receptionists PAM and SHARINE are amazing at booking patients even if they are busy they accommodate you in to their schedule they are very kind and welcoming and they make you feel comfortable if you are usually nervous to see the dentist which makes any patient less nervous and more confident to see the dentist BIG THANKS TO THEM 🙂 i will be going back here for any of my dental works
