I had a crown done by Dr. Markin a year ago and had the best experience I could have hoped for. Firstly, the entire team from receptionists (Shawnee and Sam), hygienists (Isabel, Pavi, Tula) dental assistants, are very professional and just wonderful to deal with. Dr. Markin has a very gentle approach and he is very skilled, professional, and thoughtful. I usually have difficulty getting anaesthetized and he took the time and effort required to get me fully comfortable before the procedure. After some mild soreness that lasted no more than a day or two, I have not had any issues with this crown. I would definitely recommend Dr. Markin to anyone needing this type of procedure or other dental needs. My entire family is seen at BWD and we are very satisfied with their service.

Been coming here for over a year now through the recommendation of a colleague since I needed a new dentist in Toronto.
I’ve had numerous cleanings here as well as a few fillings and even got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted here and all of the procedures have been quick with minimal discomfort (it’s never fun getting a filling or having teeth yanked, regardless of location lol).
The staff are always extremely friendly and answer all the questions I have. The dentists and hygienists help me out with a lot of personalized advice to improve my oral health and I’ve never had any problems during my visits.
If you’re looking for a new dentist in the area, give them a shot.
Does anyone like going to the dentist? Most people will groan at the thought…However, you won’t feel that way at this dental office…from the moment you walk in, greeted by Shawnee & Sam, you are part of the family…Dr. Markin and his staff are amazing…I don’t even like to leave! Yesterday I had a 3-hour appointment (hint: don’t crunch down on granola while on a cruise!) and at no time was I in any pain or discomfort. I even learned how to make a bacon & kale dinner (they have great cooking shows on the ceiling tv’s!)…..So if you absolutely hate going to the dentist, you should try out this fabulous crew of professionals.
