i had the worst phone call experience with one of the receptionist there. i had an appointment for my son i called to tell them that he will be late for 15 min he is on the way with his father the lady didn’t give any response over the phone, I felt that i’m talking to myself then she said ok and hung up. Unfortunately because of the traffic, my son and couldn’t be on time and then, i received a call from the same lady, she started saying your son is not here and this is not acceptable you suppose to respect your time i was explaining to her that ha had to see a doctor before and it is emergency as he had ear infection and he is on his way . but she said m’am you don’t understand what i’m saying whenever you book an app you have to be on time I’m going to cancel the appointment for your son, i told her he is near by the clinic but she was like no i will cancel his appointment you don’t understand what i’m telling you, you should respect your appointment, i was like i’m sorry for that but you suppose to change your way of talking to me it is not appropriate to talk to me like this way, i told her i called to say that he will be late it is really emergency he has ear infection since last night
i was talking to her and suddenly she said you don’t understand what i’m saying, you should never take an appointment if you are not coming and she hung up again. i called again to speak to a supervisor she answered again and she put me on hold and never returned back to me and I had to call back again to have someone to speak to.
I called my husband and explained to him what happened and he was at the clinic then, so at the reception he asked someone to let him speak to a responsable person at the clinic. She asked him about the name of my son and when a lady from the reception heard the name, she reacted like ‘I canceled the appointment already’ (She was the second lady at the reception and cashier desk, however in the clinic they didn’t want to give my husband her name).
aThe clinic is a very nice place and all the dentists and their assistants are so nice and friendly, however for that person, she really needs to learn how to talk to the human-beings and to understand that there are some emergencies could happen out of our control and she should listen and sympathise with patients. I didn’t mind to have my appointment cancelled, however all my concerns are her way and attitude.

I wish I would’ve listened to the previous reviews. The staff is completely incompetent. I had a referral for an orthodontist for my child, this was one of the places suggested. I called, told them I had a referral to see an ORTHODONTIST and explained what it was for. I asked follow up questions and also sent in my referral via email so they would have it on file. My appointment was at 11:15am, I waited an hour to be seen by what I thought was an orthodontist, it wasn’t, it was a dentist. She told me that for my daughter’s issue she would need to be seen by orthodontist… I said, I know, thats why I’m here! She explained that they don’t have any orthodontists at this clinic and all she can do is examine her and give her a referral for an orthodontist. I took a day off work, and pulled my daugther out of school for absolutely no reason. Complete waste of time!
Up until the last visit with pedodontiste Dr Nancy Poirier I’ve had no complaints really except for the lack of willingness to speak to me in English. During our last visit however, something unacceptable occurred. My 5 year old son was examined first, then my 11 year old daughter. My son is very active and has two broken front teeth and 1 cavity, and my daughter has a few cavities and an overbite . While my daughter was in the chair, the dentist and her hygienist were talking in French about the poor state of my children’s teeth thinking my daughter only understood English. My daughter exited the room mortified and awkward. Extremely unprofessional, idiotic and unkind.
