Reviews:
The hygienist Masooda who took me in seemed confused where everything was. I patiently waited while she figured things out. While she attempted to clean first 2 teeth, the water was dripping on the side of my face the whole time that she had to ask me to tilt my head to the side and had to grab extra paper towel to keep under my chin. While she was holding the equipment inside my mouth she was looking elsewhere trying to figure out the water hose.
I felt very uncomfortable and had asked to reschedule my appointment before my whole face was covered in water. She went up to the secretary and secretary offered her to see if she can see if the pressure of the water was not set properly. Clearly the hygienist was not well trained. To me, the water pressure was not the issue.
I told the secretary that I would call to rebook and left the clinic.
I received no apologies from anyone in the clinic for wasting my time to come for the appointment and having to be seem by an untrained staff. It was a very unpleasant experience overall.

Thank you for apologizing for once. Not “once more”. I’m once again disappointed after seeing how you reacted to this review. I understand that you can’t be enthusiastic about receiving a negative review however, it is very unprofessional to add fake stories to cover yourself.
When I initially called to book I never mentioned Amy’s name. I booked the time then asked who my hygienist was and was told it would be Jennifer. I didn’t even realize my previous hygienist’s name was Amy until I got there that day. You can confirm this with your staff because when I was told Jennifer was not there, I asked one of your staff that I had just seen her walk by, who turned out to be Amy.
After finding out the hygienist was changed to a different person, I still agreed to proceed because I had already been there for almost 20 minutes, and I rarely get days off to have time for a dental appointment. Had I known that the hygienist that I was being seen by was so incompetent, I definitely would have chosen to reschedule despite having wasted time/ effort to get to the appointment.
If you prioritize the time of your clients like you said over making money, you would have informed your clients of these changes beforehand and give them choice to proceed with the appointment or to cancel rather waiting for them to show up.
During the procedure while the water was running down the side of my face, the hygienist NEVER offered to switch to manual scaling. All that she did was to put pads of paper towel underneath my chin saying it’s for “extra protection”. Until I told her I cannot bear to proceed due to discomfort, she didn’t bother to ask how I was.
If the whole team very well knew that it was this poor hygienist’s first time there ever, and was not familiar with her surroundings, wouldn’t it have been a good idea to have someone oversee/ assist her while she attends to her first patient to make sure things run smoothly rather than waiting for her to run out to get help?
Eden did my tooth cleaning, she was absolutely amazing. She was polite, kept the overall environment friendly and was extremely careful yet thorough with my cleaning. I will definitely get my teeth cleaned with her again.
Finally Dr. Ari has hands of gold. He carried out my wisdom tooth extraction and bone grafting because of severe infection in my gum. From his use of needle to extraction of the tooth, took literally 10 seconds and no pain or discomfort at all. He kept the environment light and comfortable, joked and made me laugh, and compared to my previous tooth extraction at a different dental clinic, he really set the bar high on how the actual pros do the job right.
For the first time ever I can say I will go to a dentist with no fear or horror. Thank you Dr. Ari and team so much for taking care of me and helping out our community at the Park Place.
