You would think for a clinic who charges expensive dental procedures, they would at least offer direct billing to insurance providers. Well not this one. Two appointments, one month apart. One was for $1100 the other $875, we had to pay upfront. I know we can claim this but what if you don’t have enough money to pay right away ? I just find it’s very inconsiderate.

Also, the dentist and her hygienist are not very friendly, considering they cater to children. Hygienist looked at me from toe to head when I asked something. The dentist is the same – very unwelcoming and makes you feel you are wasting her time asking stupid questions. I wish we have other options when it comes to paediatric dentist.

This place has legitimately traumatized my daughter. She is absolutely terrified of dentists now. It is not a place aimed towards children because there’s absolutely no patience or empathy for children at all. We were suppose to be back for more appointments but I canceled them all. This was about a year ago now when my daughter was 5 and I still think about it often. My daughter will randomly bring up this appointment and cry. I do not recommend and wouldn’t even give 1 star if there was a lower option to give.

Our insurance Sunlife found their rates to be “unreasonable”, only approved about 30% instead of 80% of their price, lots of the procedures were also declined as not required. As if this was not bad enough they kept bringing up more fees that was never mentioned even on the day of the procedure. Our experience felt so much like a big gouge or extortion of sort. The receptionist did not help at all, wouldn’t let us speak, keeps cutting in and tried to gaslight us.
