Reviews:
Dr Armstrong and his team have earned my utmost respect and appreciation! I came to Great Slave Dental in Oct 2023 with many dental problems, some were critical. I was given a thorough exam followed by a suggested treatment plan. Since then, I’ve been under his care for many hours over multiple visits. The office has cutting edge equipment, the staff are invariably friendly, professional and well trained. Dr Armstrong is highly qualified and experienced, quiet, thoughtful and patient-centric. Without question, he is the best dentist that I have had the privilege of meeting, and; I’ve known a few good ones over the years. I just wish that I’d started coming here 10 years ago. If you need dental care, I unequivocally recommend Dr Armstrong and his associates at Great Slave Dental.

My wisdom tooth extraction went smoothly from a medical perspective. I would have really appreciated a bit more information beforehand, a sense of what to expect, some reassurance as we went through the 4 hour surgery, and a more extensive post-op information sheet. I left the surgery with a lot of questions and went in feeling very unprepared. That said, the extraction itself, while very challenging, has been healing well, the stitches have stayed in, and I have been able to return to normal activities quickly. There has been support and follow-up with some nerve questions afterwards.
Limited info from the start for what the appointment was for, had to ask via text when appointment was confirmed and again when in the dental chair. I believe this information would not have been discussed had I not asked. How do you get informed consent if you are not informing your client of what the appointment is for?
Dentist did not discuss anything he was doing unless prompted by my questions. No health history completed, no health related questions asked at all.
Licence on the wall indicates dental licence is expired as of March 2024.
Overall very unhappy with the appointment.
