Don’t let Dr. Sharma’s humming in your ear while working lull you into thinking that she is confident and knows what she is doing. I have had several problems with my teeth since she took over for many of Dr. Pranges patients. I had been a patient of Dr. Pranges for more than 30 years and he is amazing! After too many red flags with Dr Sharma I decided to leave the office and find a dentist closer to my home. Since this time my new dentist has discovered some glaring problems with dental procedures Dr. Sharma has performed.
1. She placed a crown that is too small and therefore has no contact to the adjacent tooth. As a result I constantly have food stuck there and my new dentist says it will eventually form a pocket and lead to bone loss in my jaw. He said that it is critical before a crown is permanently placed the ‘fit’ needs to be checked for those contact points otherwise it needs to be fixed by the dental lab. I have struggled with this problem since the day it was placed and I just assumed it was the result of having to deal with a ‘fake’ tooth. To correct this is not that easy. I’m told by my new dentist that removing the existing small crown could be too risky because he might damage the tooth underneath (which then could cause the need for a very pricy implant) so instead he has to add a filling to the side of the adjacent tooth to allow for contact between the 2 teeth so there is no more gap.
2. Dr. Sharma did a root canal on a tooth which should render it ‘dead’ but yet I still have discomfort there. I told her about this and she said it is just bruised. The real truth is that the Xrays taken by my new dentist shows that she didn’t get all of the root. In addition to this problem she made the filling so shallow that there is no contact between my molars when I bite down. And lastly on this same tooth, she didn’t smooth down the filling on the side so my dental floss gets shredded whenever I floss.
This is not an opinion review. These are all facts which were proven by xrays and coloured photographs taken by my new dentist.
Good luck to you if she is your dentist or you are thinking of making her your dentist. A red flag should go up if she doesn’t have a lot of reviews and one of her 5 star reviews also has the last name SHARMA.
They laugh at my lame jokes, they clean my teeth, they make sure to badger me about not flossing, they make my family happy.

I don’t think it would be unreasonable to ask for a scalp massage while getting my teeth cleaned. Then I could lie to myself and think I’m going to the spa, not the dentist.

The dental hygienist (I’m sorry, I don’t know your name, but I know so much about you!) and Dr. Sharma are fantastic. Support staff are friendly and helpful. I hope my insurance company pays them enough for them to hopefully expand the business into something a bit less crowded.

The new dental surgeon is amazing! Dr. K.J. is very clear and willing to explain anything. He took the time to help me understand how to get on my feet after my wisdom teeth removal quickly and safely. He did an amazing efficient and painless job removing my wisdom teeth!

The day after my wisdom teeth removal I gave two public presentations and had no problems speaking, I also had minimal swelling and pain. Dr. K.J. was very kind and even gave me is home number incase anything was a concern after the surgery.
