I’ve been going to this dental office for almost 20 years and will not be going back. The clinic in itself is well maintained with strong supporting staff but the lead dentist (Dr. Billy) is rude with poor bedside manners and does not truly listen to his clients. I had composite bonding added to my teeth to fill in my middle gap and noticed immediately that it was misaligned. I tried to express my concerns several times but he was dismissive and said “if you want the gap filled that’s how it’s supposed to be”. I’ve had this procedure done numerous times and it had never looked like this. Luckily I was able to go to another dental office (who immediately noticed the botched job) and got my smile back. I will give the office kudos for reimbursing me for the procedure.
So if I had the option of giving none I would. When i originally came here service was amazing. Today’s visit (08-16-2024). The hygienist was amazing. The dentist on the other hand he needs to brush up on his bedside manner.
Basically, sounding like a broken record, telling me that my teeth are in crappy shape his words were a little bit more elegant in very bad shape. I don’t need addressing down the way that I felt I was being verbally attacked. Now I’m not a snowflake.
However at the end of the day, part of your job is to ensure that folks that don’t go to the dentist very much are you able to come into an atmosphere that is welcoming. Would I recommend this place. After today’s visit NO! I would not.
Have been a client for 20 years. The clinic has really changed in the last couple of years. The last cleaning I had was the best of my life, no lie. She was efficient and sensitive to my needs. Really a good experience. But the cleaning I had 6 months ago was easily one of the worst of my life. She constantly ran water down my throat, and then apologised profusely every time I gagged. It was an uncomfortable experience.
Everyone has always been very nice, and sensitive to my dental anxiety (I went through dental torture as a child). I would and have recommended the clinic to many people.
