The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Was recommended by my bf and was shocked by the rudeness and lack of professionalism by the receptionist. Didn’t even get a chance to see the dentist because I have not been able to book a proper appointment even after multiple attempts on the phone. My availability has changed a few times since my initial appt and I’ve called every time 2 weeks in advance to reschedule – this lady gets so annoyed for no reason, like I can’t even speak with her without her yelling at me across the line. I know rescheduling can be difficult sometimes but it’s part of your job as the receptionist to find another mutual time that works. My calls never get returned, and the one time I call and she picks up, she hangs up on me without even letting me speak!!! She just said “WE DON’T HAVE ANYTHING NEXT WEEK BYE!” and I didn’t even get a chance to reply at all! I wasn’t even asking for next week! I am appalled and will not be giving this place another chance. I was polite and patient every time but this is too much. The dentist did call back and try to schedule me in herself which I appreciate but I don’t even want to go to this place anymore. That receptionist has completely deterred me from this place altogether. If she’s this rude on the phone, I can’t imagine what she’ll be like in person and I just know it’ll be extremely difficult to book more appts with her in the future. I much rather go somewhere else where they’ll treat me like an actual human being. She’s lost this business a potential client and my bf as a returning one.

Went to Dr. Xuan Hoi Van. She doesn’t address the problems you came here for and it becomes a worse situation later on!

Went twice to get a wisdom tooth extracted because food was collecting in a crevice and it was growing kind of sideways. Was told no need and was given “reasons” ($300, it’s surgery, etc.) for me not to do it despite it being hard to care for daily and creating scar tissue. Nothing else was brought up after the check ups and x-rays.

Less than a year later, I have a dull ache and could see a cavity on one my middle teeth. Okay, not the best consistent brusher and I drink pop often. Checked the other teeth. So I pushed the inside cheek flesh with scar tissue out of the way (which we both noted it’s from the teeth growing sideways) and there is a huge, brown crater on it. Like the top is 40% crater at varying depths. the deepest section is about 5mm. And that’s what can be seen because the tooth is partially covered by gums.

I had insurance from school and work back then but not a lot of free time for more appointments and very reluctantly agreed to leave as it is. She never brought to my attention that anything else was wrong so it seemed fine. But now I have a huge cavity there, food gets even more stuck and I no longer have insurance so will be paying full price to get it removed.
Not good!
