They didn’t smoothen out, polish, or sand the fillings that were done on my teeth, and so my floss gets shredded in the muffin top bulges at the tops of my teeth. Secondly, they didn’t provide proper instructions on teeth whitening and also didn’t give me all of the parts (applicator tips were missing); I had never done it before, and, it being toxic and such, if I didn’t take time out of my schedule to go in person and get the applicator tip(s) and instructions, I may have damaged my teeth, gums or something else. Lastly, when I requested to speak to a manager (to address my concerns), I was sluffed off and when I spoke to the dentist who filled my teeth, he didn’t address my concerns. When I went to Sky Dental, I was cared for and respected more as Dr. Ibrahim immediately said he would smoothen out the rough fillings.

When I phoned Memorial Ave. and expressed my concerns and to let them know, because of the experiences Ive had with them, I was moving onto another dentist, they “handled” me. There was no real apology or sincere, caring attitude; nor were there any explanations for the poor and disrespectful service I had received. She droned (fake politeness to just get away from the phone call, etc.) and cut me off to end the call and hang up.

I recommend you find another dentist if you’re going to Memorial Ave.

Thank you Memorial Avenue dentistry clinic did accept and give a very good treatment to my daughter. This clinic is one of the few clinics in Thunder Bay that accept patient under covered by Healthy Smiles program. The clinic was under high quality for infection prevention and control. You must take shoes and wear temporary socks as you are in clinic. The x-ray delivery in room and showed on computer. The doctor and assistant were really nice and high skilled. My daughter felt ok for this class two filling on her milk molar. As finishing the treatment, she and her brother also had the right to choose a toys from clinic. Thank you so much.
The parking lot is wide and easy parking. Next to it is Mc Donald then easy to calm the kids for a dental treatment.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. All the staff who I have interacted with in all my visits over the years have been amazing. When I have an emergency they manage to squeeze me in. Dr Ash is a great dentist, with a sense of humour. All the hygienists have been great over the years. Most recently though Robert has been taking care of my cleanings and is amazing. Honestly the most gentle and fast probing I have ever experienced. Straight forward, honest and is passionate about dental care. I enjoy our sessions and look forward to many more hygiene appointments.
