Dr. Shievitz is not a good dentist. He took out my wisdom tooth without fully disclosing why and then telling me later that it was not for any immediate concern. I then started to have so much pain and asked him if I had dry socket he said no. He also said I had a “mystery patch” on the roof of my mouth and did not know what it was so prescribed a cold sore medication for it!! I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told that I did in fact have dry socket and the mystery patch was where Dr. Shievitz inserted the needles to freeze my gums and had bruised me. I DO NOT trust Dr. Shievitz he does unnecessary procedures for his own financial gain and does not provide proper or informed care to his patients. I will no longer be a patient of his. He needs to retire so not to cause anymore harm to other people.

Dr. Shievitz has been my families dentist for many years, my parents have had extensive work done with him and I just had my wisdom tooth become infected they were quick to book a last min appointment and have been by the best for maintenance as well! If you can switch dentist or looking for one in the Vaughn area I would highly recommend his team!

For years Dr. Shievitz and his team have been my dentist and the dentist for my entire family , they are just amazing!
