Booked an appointment on 7th of Feb for dental cleaning with MI Dental. Appointment was booked on the 20th of Feb. All well and good. I went to the office and got the check up done. The hygenist, Ms Taranvir Singh, who was really cordial and nice, was allocated only 1 hour for the cleaning and the dental X-Rays which was apparently not enough time for a first time customer.

Prior to booking, I informed the staff of MI dental on numerous occasions (once through the application form and once through email) that it was my first visit to the dentist’s office and gave them a very descriptive account of the state of my teeth.

Despite this knowledge, they booked me for only an hour. I was told that I would have to come back to get the rest of the cleaning done. So the cleaning was only half-way done during the first appointment.

No problem, I would have still considered giving them 5 stars. They booked the 2nd appointment during my visit to the dental office on Thursday the 22nd of Feb.

After a while, I received a text from MI Dental saying that they cannot do it on Thursday but the next day is available.

Ok, not a problem lets book it on Friday, the 23rd! Whats another day, right? They confirmed the appointment on Friday. Sent me a text of appointment confirmation.

After 4-5 hours, I received a text from MI Dental AGAIN! saying dentist won’t be available to see me on the 23rd of Feb, Friday. They told me to come in on Monday 26th Feb. I had work on Monday so I wasn’t available then.

With some more back and forth, the next available appointment is booked on Thursday 29th Feb.

1. Dragging a simple cleaning for this far out when all of this could have been done in one appointment does not leave a good impression.
2. Booking and rebooking all these appointments because the staff and the dentists cannot be on the same page has been a hassle for me. The customer is suffering the brunt of all the internal communication issues at MI Dental.

After my next, already paid-for appointment, I will be avoiding them. 0/10.

EDIT: (1 star to 3 stars) Other than the appointment issue I am happy with the service they provided so I am going to give them another chance and bump it up to 3 stars.

Update: I feel like the team at MI dental deserve another amazing review. The doctor and every other staff member in the office go above and beyond every time. They are so friendly and truly make an uncomfortable dental visit less intimidating. I cannot recommend them enough. I now make an hour commute just to continue to receive such exceptional care! Thank you so much!!

I would absolutely recommend MI dental. The staff are incredibly accommodating, kind hearted and most importantly good at what they do. Every appointment I’ve attended has exceeded my expectations.

Today I had My broken molar treatment, it was VERY complicated and not easy to get done as it’s broken from both sides, but I Am so happy and lucky to have Dr. Manzoor as Our Family Dentist, he’s So Professional and Patient, he knows what he’s doing and do it in a Very Professional manner, even the dental assistants are very experienced, and great customer service.
I would Strongly recommend to get your teeth treated in this clinic.
I would rate MI DENTAL 10 stars over 5.
