Got braces for crowding of bottom teeth – ended up with gap between top front teeth and the assistant broke a top front tooth when removing the braces – felt shattered tooth dust on my lips and in my mouth – I was asked if my tooth had been broken when I came in for the appointment – I was shocked and couldn’t believe it – not a good reveal experience – in before/after pictures, had super bright white teeth before braces and after braces had gray front bottom teeth with the top gap – also permanent retainers on top and bottom – was supposed to have braces for 1 year, had them about 2 years which corresponded approximately when benefits ran out – now > 10 years later had top retainer removed, front teeth moved on their own so no more gap and finally have a more comfortable bite – honestly was the worst experience from a professional – concerns with results not listened to and results not what was expected or desired
