I have major dental anxiety and it had been awhile since I had seen a dentist. From the start the ladies at the front desk (Carly and Kirby) were amazing! They were both very helpful at making me feel comfortable with booking the first appointment and had many encouraging words (which helps a ton when you have dental anxiety)
Tammy was fantastic ! She made me feel comfortable and at ease and I never felt judged . We went over all of my anxieties and I truly felt that she listened. I went from a racing, anxious heart beat to somehow feeling relaxed and calm. (Which I never felt at a dentist office before)
Then I had the exam with Dr. Marvel and once again extremely respectful , no judgment and truly listened to my concerns . She made my dental anxieties much at ease.
Big kudos to all the staff there ! It’s a very clean , non judgmental environment and I am very happy with how my first visit went.

Best dental clinic I have ever been to , worked with me through my anxieties, Also worked with me through my financial constraints. They made me feel important. They made me feel welcome and safe. The Front receptionist are amazing and hilarious, professional yet fun . the hygienist are fantastic and the dentist are amazing .

I greatly appreciate the compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable support I received from Sarah during my dental emergency. She went out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of even though it was a holiday weekend! I feel a great sense of gratitude for Island Roots dental. They now have a client for life! Thank you!
