A week ago, I had a tooth removed in this clinic by Galina Grinash. It’s just a nightmare. This went on endlessly. I was x-rayed three times, between tooth extractions, and each time they put an x-ray machine in my mouth with a glove that had my blood in it. They told me not to worry about it because it was my blood and not anyone else’s. My things were covered in blood. I was like in a war, as if not in a clinic, but in a field … Dr. Galina could not cope with my tooth for a long time and wanted to leave a piece of the root. She said there was nothing to worry about. Or we will do it a second time if there is discomfort or I decide to put an implant. This is a big stress for me, once I was allergic to an injection. So I insisted on a complete removal. Before starting treatment, the doctor said that the removal would cost $250-$300. But in the end, she said 400 because she worked with me for a long time and was tired, and because she wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic. Since when do doctors write prescriptions for money? But she did not prescribe probiotics to me and did not say anything, now I have problems with my stomach and intestines. By the way, I paid 350 in cash. The doctor was not very happy about this and wanted to take a prescription for antibiotics from me, but something stopped her, and she left it to me. And now the most important thing. A week later, the pain did not go away, but there was a shooting pain in the gums. I turned to Galina to check if everything was in order, she said that the wound needed to be washed, but did not say out loud that I had alveolitis. Her assistants told me about it. She gave me an injection, right into this sore gum, it was terribly painful, she started to clean, but it still hurt a lot, she gave me another injection, and even after the second injection I could hardly stand it while she was cleaning. Today is the 8th day after tooth extraction. I can’t live without painkillers. I finished taking antibiotics. My doctor suggested extending the course of antibiotics because there was a second intervention, adding an anti-inflammatory drug as well, and applying an antimicrobial antibiotic ointment to the gums. These are all additional costs. Plus, I can’t fully work because of pain, my stomach began to deteriorate, gastritis, dysbacteriosis … In general, horror. I do not recommend Galina Grinash to anyone. By the way, I talked with her former patient, she left a piece of the filling to the child when she removed the tooth, but did not say so right away. This was discovered in the garden during a routine inspection. I think that there are many such patients, but not everyone complains. Although I saw another negative post about Galina Grinash in the reviews here, his story is very similar to mine. If it doesn’t get better in the near future, I will contact other authorities and make this “doctor” known in other social networks.
I’m admittedly a terrible dental patient. I get anxiety, make appointments sporadically and definitely not often enough, and when it comes to my teeth, there are always issues to address that require a great deal of cooperation and consistency on my part. I decided that when I moved recently that I needed to find a great dentist and really stick with it. I wish I could say that my first appointment was a pleasant and easy check up, but I went in knowing I needed to have some procedures done. The staff listened to me carefully when I called to make my appointment, and when I arrived, they were welcoming and prompt.
When I saw Dr. Lindstrom, I was pleased that she is a compassionate and kind doctor. She understood my anxiety about my teeth, my pain, and the work needed, and she was very gentle and caring. I felt relaxed, and I’ve now gotten a lot of the procedures I need out of the way.I’m definitely on the road to better dental health, and I’ve happily returned to this office three times now. Glad I found this Dr!
I have been working in two cities for my job when I found myself in Toronto and in desperate need of a dentist. Since starting my new job, I really had not found a dentist that I clicked with. I am not a fan of cold bedside manners or condescension of any kind. I have to say I was completely overjoyed when I was referred to Dr. Lisa Lindstrom. From the time I contacted her office to the end of my first visit, her staff was professional, friendly and kind. I have never experienced such a high level of customer service and support from any other dental office in my life. She is very warm. She took the time to listen and talk to me about what was going on with my teeth and what options were available. When I left her office, I felt good and confident about how to proceed next. Dr. Lisa Lindstrom is not only a wonderful dentist but also a great human being . I highly recommend her and the entire staff!
