Great place! Great dental care professionals! Courteous front office staff! Recommend!

That’s what I wrote 5 months back with 5 stars!

But due to a miserable experience at their hands, I have to rate them down to zero star (not possible, so one star).

The reason: There has been a procedure pending for sometime now, in their front office for want of details from the insurance company. The cost estimate is for several thousands and due to the lazy, indifferent and unmotivated front office staff, the approval is yet to see the light!

When taken up with them even after showing the communication from the insurance company which seeks details directly from the service provider, there is a grave, nonchalant and irresponsible attitude on the part of the front staff!

When the back office, comprising excellent doctors and hygienists, strives to make the revenues for the dental company while restoring the dental health of the patients, front office is working exactly in the opposite direction, almost sabotaging those efforts! Sometimes, it gives a feeling that it’s not only the lack of initiative and required drive, but also may be a feeling of jealousy and frustration due to the lowly paid jobs!

If there is an active management which takes note of google reviews seriously, it is in for an effective coaching opportunity to the front office staff and wake them up from their deep slumber to focus on bringing about good health for its patients and also bringing in revenue to the company, so that they get their paycheques uninterrupted! If the front office is complacent in what they are doing right now, as they have many patients on their plate, it will take no time for the patients to choose better alternatives, if the situation continues like now!

Wish the front office staff, a speedy recovery from their attitude problem and turn around to serve their patients in a more proactive and efficient manner!

It was my first time and I book an appointment over the phone. I was not told the policy that.

“When you are late for the first time, and for once, you will never be accepted In the dental clinic for future appointment.”

1hour late. I called to let the office know that I was late due to circumstanstaces beyond my control, I am on my way, ill be there in 10 minutes and I apologised,

And the receptionist I spoke with replied me in the rudest manner possible. She was angry, she was cold, She said I was late and that was it. She refused to book me. She said she will not book me again, She said the policy is…if a client is late once for which ever reason, that client would never be accepted to the clinic ever again. I told her it was my first time and I was sorry, she said it didnt matter. She didn’t let me speak most of the time. She was so cold and so angry. I cried. I begged her to please consider that it was my first time and after much begging And explaining she finally booked me in. I have seen any office that will completely refuse a Client for the first time and never accept the Client for being late. The receptionist was ride, very rude, cold as ice.

I am really grateful for the entire Surrey Place Dental Group from the staff at the front to the Dentist and Hygienist who performed my procedure. They were so kind and supportive answered my never ending questions, provided me with support and care when I was anxious and scared and it just really made the whole experience so much better. I have so much gratitude for this office and I hope they continue to do this work with the level of care, compassion and kindness that they showed to me. All my thanks!
